Isten áldja Európát! - Európai Ökumenikus Nagygyűlés krisztusi fények és emberi árnyak között

„Isten áldja Európát” – fejezte be köszöntőjét Traian Basescu, Románia államelnöke a 3. Európai Ökumenikus Nagygyűlés megnyitóján, Nagyszebenben. Mint köztudott, e Nagygyűlés főtémája így hangzott. „Jézus Krisztus világossága ragyog mindannyiunkra – reménység Európa megújulására és egységére”. Krisztus fénye az első Karácsony óta befogadásoktól és elutasításoktól kísérve ragyog a világ sötétségében. A fény és árnyék metafora sokszor kifejezően utal az élet menetére, jelenségeire. Így volt ez az 5 napos nagyszebeni találkozón is. Az alábbiak e metafora mentén adnak számot a krisztusian fényes és az emberien árnyékos eseményekről. » tovább...
